| TRENTA DELIVERED, TAMAR LAUNCHED - on Friday, March 19, 2010 - 12:34 PM NT |
On March 15, 2010 the naming and delivery ceremony for bulker "Trenta" was held in Hantong shipyard, China. The following day "Tamar", the second vessel built for Splosna Plovba was successfully launched. Tamar was named after one of the most beautiful valleys in Slovenian Alps, the Tamar valley. |  |

 | Slovenia celebrates maritime day on March 7th. At that day we evoke maritime policy resolution from year 1991 in which is, among other, stated that Slovenian people was and will be maritime oriented. Maritime day was celebrated on March 04th 2010 in Teater of Koper. Former President of the Republic of Slovenia Mr. Milan Kučan, Minister of Transport Mr. Patrick Vlačič and IMO Secretary-General Mr. Efthimios E. Mitropoulos among the others, attended the ceremony. | EU SPECIAL FORCES UNITS HAVE STORMED AND FREED BULK CARRIER ARIELLA - on Saturday, February 06, 2010 - 10:58 AM NT |
On February 5th, early in the morning Somali pirates highjacked Splosna Plovba owned bulker Ariella. Ariella was enroute from Ukraine to Indonesia. Hours later EU special forces stormed hijacked vessel and freed the crew of 25 none of whom were hurt. |  |

 | On December 18th, 2009, the launching ceremony for 57000dwt bulk carrier Trenta was successfully carried out in Hantong shipyard, China. New bulk carrier is named after one of the most beautiful valleys in Slovenia, the Trenta valley. Trenta is the first of two bulk carriers launched by Hantong Ship Heavy Industry Co.,Ltd for Genshipping corp. c/o Splošna plovba Portoroz. |

| SOLIDARITY ACTION FOR CREW OF MV SOL TRADER - on Sunday, January 25, 2009 - 11:06 AM NT |
On beginning of January cargo vessel SOL TRADER owned by Val Management
Rijeka was detained by district court in Koper, Slovenia on request of several
creditors. After certain period of time on anchorage food and water supply dropped to
minimum, fresh supply was not delivered. Seamen's union of Slovenia immediately offered help to our fellow-workers.
On Thursday we delivered to SOL TRADER 30 m3 of fresh water and certain
quantity of food sufficient for approximately ten days. We notified our colleagues from Croatian seamen's Union and offered any
further assistance deemed necessary. In this tough moments we express our firm support to crew of SOL TRADER Andrej Utenkar, President of SUS
